Tactile Signs
Signs and interpretation can often benefit from incorporating a tactile element in their design. Apart from adding to the aesthetic appeal, it can also introduce a level of interactivity to the display and be of help those who are visually impaired.
Our CNC routing machines allow us to do this in a number of ways - from fairly simple engraved or raised designs in a range of different materials to much more intricate 3D objects. We can also produce Braille signage and relief maps.
Another way of creating a new dimension is to add sound. Our 'Talking Signs' incorporate a unit which can play a spoken message, sound effects or perhaps music when triggered by the user. These are normally fitted into our sign supports and powered by small solar cells.
