Talking Signs
‘Talking’ signs are something we developed a number of years ago to introduce an audio element to our interpretation. They feature a sound unit with a speaker, powered by a solar cell, and the facility to change the recorded message from time to time.
As well as the spoken word, these have been used to include bird song and music in order to develop a theme or evoke a particular atmosphere. They can be triggered by a movement sensor or a push button and open up the interpretation to a wider audience.
